Getting started

Verify your email

Enter the six-digit code, resend it, or fix the address you typed.

A new account is not usable until the address behind it is confirmed. We send a six-digit code rather than a magic link, so you can finish the sign-up in the same tab you started it in.

Entering the code

Check your inbox

We sent a six-digit code to you@company.com.

Resend code · Wrong address?

The verification screen. The code is six digits and it is not case sensitive, because it has no letters.

Type or paste the code into the boxes and press Verify email. Pasting the whole code at once fills every box; you do not have to tab between them.

Note

Codes expire. If yours has been sitting in your inbox for a while, request a new one rather than trying the old one twice.

Resending the code

Resend code sends a fresh one to the same address. There is a short cooldown between sends; it exists so one inbox cannot be flooded, and the button tells you how long is left. Check your spam folder before spending a resend on it.

You typed the wrong address

This is the common case, and it used to be the one that stranded people. Press Wrong address? on the verification screen, enter the correct email and the password you just chose, and a new code goes out immediately. The old address is released at the same time.

  • The password check is there so nobody else can re-point a pending sign-up at their own inbox.
  • This only works while the account is still unverified. Once verified, changing your email is an account change rather than a sign-up correction.
  • The first code to a brand-new address ignores the resend cooldown, so a typo does not cost you a wait.

After you verify

You are signed in and sent to the onboarding wizard, which asks three quick questions and then opens the generator. See Onboarding and the tour.
